| Answer:
I am somewhat familiar with the Church community of which you speak. It is alas not yet in communion with the body of Orthodox Churches. There appear to be numerous such communities. Since the Lord permits this there must be some good in it. We are however called to pray that the unity He called us to become more and more clearly manifest in this the world He loves so much and in which He is continually at work. Normally such "independent" communities eventually seek such communion and upon regulation of things which are lacking are received. A willingness to be humble and submissive to God by submitting to our brothers and sisters (where this can be done) is essential.Very Rev. Ihor Kutash kutash@unicorne.org |
